Quality Policy
Summit Laboratories Inc. recognizes that the
disciplines of quality, health and safety and environmental management are an
integral part of its management function. The company views these as a primary
responsibilities and to be key to good business in adopting appropriate quality
standards
As an organization, Summit Laboratories, Inc. is acutely aware of the need for
quality management as it relates to the long-term success of our business. It is
for this reason that the management and staff is committed to following a formal
quality program based on ISO 9001. It is our intent that the quality program
plays a key role in meeting and/or exceeding the expectations of our clients.
Summit Laboratories, Inc. management will ensure clear, consistent communication
of the quality policy and its commitment to comply with quality program
requirements to all members of the internal organization and external suppliers.
The Company is committed to ensuring that all organizational members receive
quality training and are adequately trained and qualified to perform their
assigned responsibilities. Key suppliers of goods, resources, and services will
be required to comply with the organization's quality program.
Each employee is a customer for work done by other employees or suppliers, with
a right to expect good work from others and an obligation to contribute work of
high caliber. Quality will be achieved on a proactive basis; i.e., by preventing
problems rather than by detecting and correcting them after they occur.
Sustained quality excellence requires continuous improvement. Regardless of how
good present performance may be it can be improved. Recommendations representing
potential quality improvement will be carefully evaluated and followed up in a
systematic and planned manner.
If the climate in which the Company operates should change, our quality program
will be evaluated and modified as appropriate, while still maintaining alignment
with ISO 9001 requirements.
Reporting on the process of the implementation of the quality program is a
permanent agenda item for monthly management review meetings.
